OKAMI- Smiling Sun by Precious-Love OKAMI- Smiling Sun by Precious-Love
Another Amaterasu/Oki fanart! ^^ I'm really disappointed in the colors though, the scanner sucks!! Originally there was more red in the beams of light but the scanner crapified it!!! Ugh, o well. Done with colored pencils.

I don't know much about Okami (just a little about the main character), but I still think this is a great picture. I like the effect you did with the sunlight blending into the sky, but the black lines disrupt said effect Juuust a little.
I love the lineart here, too. You seem to be very careful with the hair, despite how wild it looks, and the shapes are great.
Also, great job on the coloring, I think you used different tools for certain areas, and it came out nice. There were cool effects on the guy at the bottom, and I'm a sucker for effects. Great job!

Even if the sunbeams are 'crapified', Oki's coloring turned out awesome, though. Love it.

Actually the rays are nice cuz they're not to overpowering. If they were the same color of the sun, that much red would've taken away from what is really the subject of the artwork. Good job :D
